Okinawan food. Great food and experience. The chicken stew's meat is super tender and fresh. Juicy hamburg too. Big portion but on the slightly pricey side.

shrimp fry was very salted. pork fry was also too salted. may be okinawa style but too salted. friendly but not my taste and felt little expensive for quality.

We wanted to get out of the hotel & enjoy a local joint; picked this one due to good comments on Google & we were not disappointed at all. We were lucky to get the last not reserved table & soon after arrival the place was full & was turning people away due to long wait... so call & make reservation to be sure!!!All good was excellent; atmosphere very cozy & staff friendly & helpful. Also made a great awamori recommendation; so I was especially happy. Next time we are in the area; we will visit again for sure!!!

We stayed at the ANA Intercontinental Manza, searched for a last minute dinner plan and found this restaurant just 1km away from the hotel. Literally a 3 minute drive. And it came as a pleasant surprise, as this unplanned meal turned out to be the best one by far upon arriving Okinawa! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, seating very comfortable, staff spoke limited but enough English and were pleasant and patient with us (a big group with two very young children). We visited between two typhoons so a lot of food weren’t available, no fish. But everything that was available turned out to be superb. We had the Okinawa style appetisers, salad, squid sashimi, purple potato tempura, pork hot pot and pints of nice chilled Orion beer. They even had these fisherman(?) hats as photo props for us tourists to put on when the food were all laid out on the table, and took a nice group photo for us. Great experience.

Specializing in steamed shimaguda agu pork with vegetables in tajine pot. Not a large restaurant, family run, popular. All the ingredients were very fresh, simple but flavorful. We enjoyed every dish. The owner/chef suggested that we used the the little leftover from the pot, added the agu pork lard and stir fried with udon at the end and it was delicious. A friendly local restaurant! Prices are a bit on the high end though.

Best Okinawa cuisine after 3 days disappointed in the row. Seafood hot pot was super fresh and tasty. Agu pork hamburger was the best hamburger I ever tried. 400 yen table charge is not responsible, but at least small dishes taste excellent. The only thing I am going to complain is service. I was waiting for table for 10 mins. Lady Staff just ask me to wait and keep working on her business. I think she should take me to seat first instead of let me wait for no reason. Anyway, it's a good restaurant and must try if you stay at Hyatt or intercontinental. If you think my review is useful, please give me a like.

Great atmosphere in an beautifully decorated location. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. I loved the food, the meat was tender and perfectly prepared, the sauce very tasty. Full recommendation. Just across from the Hyatt Regency entrance.

Honestly best meal I had in all of japan. The staff are incredibly friendly, the recommended pork course was out of this world good, and the owners even drove us home because it was raining. Seriously. Love this place so much. Fire food, better people.

The food is great! The staff is very kind and friendly. I went there twice with my two daughters and we had a great time. The pork is delicious... But not only the pork. Try the full course menue and you will be able to make fresh Tofu by yourself right in front of you. Amazing!

We ordered the set for 2. It’s very cute because they give u steps on how to cook the dishes. One of the dishes was to make homemade tofu. We boiled the soy milk then poured vinegar to create tofu. There were also steps to create the noodles and the meat. The restaurant was very creative and cute.

Other than the Agu pork in the hot pot is too greasy, everything else is good.

This is one of those fortunate encounters. The owners speak just enough English to help you do this meal correctly... And it is EXCELLENT. This is worth the detour to get here...do it
